Well done to Excelsior athlete Greg Longden who came 16th at the Youth Olympics in Modern Pentathlon.
This is a great result for Greg and is the result of some hard work over the last 2 years.
Greg is pictured here with Coach Drew Wilsher and fellow pentathlete Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffee,
I expect Greg to announce his retirement soon!

Well done to Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffee who finished 16th in the Modern Pentathlon Junior World Championships. He was in 8th psoition until the final shoot, and had a bit of a setback. He has another 2 years at this age group, but has moved back to Ireland to study. It has been a fun 2 years training him.

A quick break from UKSCA reviews- Congratulations to Greg Longden on coming 24th in the Modern Pentathlon Junior World Championships in Sweden last week. He was the top ranked British competitor and will represent Team GB at the Youth Olympics in Singapore in August.
Despite being a reluctant trainer and having a passion for static stretching, Greg has made good progress over the last year. Well done.

Congratulations to Louise Helyer who came 8th in the recent Mod Pent World Cup in Mexico. Louise is now ranked 32 in the World, but should move higher with more competitions. She won the swim event which was a great result.
Arthur Lanigan O' Keeffe also competed and came 46th in the Senior Men's event- he will be off to Cairo this week for the next World Cup event.
